Why We Built YardTack
Every service business needs three things to grow: a way for customers to find them, a way to manage their work, and a way to get paid. Most businesses cobble this together from five or six different tools — a website builder here, a scheduler there, a separate invoicing app, and maybe a spreadsheet holding it all together.
We saw this pattern repeated across landscapers, pest control companies, pool service providers, pressure washers, and even wilderness guides. The tools existed, but they didn't talk to each other, they weren't branded to the business, and they were expensive — especially when you're paying per-user fees that scale faster than your revenue.
The White-Label Gap
The biggest gap we found was branding. Jobber gives your customers a "Jobber-branded" portal. GorillaDesk doesn't have a website builder at all. GoHighLevel is built for marketing agencies, not field service operations. None of them let a landscaping company present a fully branded experience — from their website to their booking page to their customer portal — under their own name.
That's what YardTack does. Each business on YardTack gets a complete branded platform: their logo, their colors, their fonts, their domain. Their customers never see "Powered by YardTack" unless the business wants them to.
What We Built
YardTack is a multi-tenant SaaS platform with 54 features across seven categories. The page editor has 38 drag-and-drop block types. The booking system supports both crew-based services (landscaping, pest control) and experience-based sessions (guided tours, escape rooms). Invoicing flows through Stripe. Crew members get a mobile "My Day" view. And the whole thing provisions from industry templates in minutes.
We chose flat-rate pricing because we believe growing your team shouldn't mean growing your software bill. Add crew members, add customers — the price stays the same within your plan.
What's Next
We're adding SMS and voice communications (YardTack Connect), custom domain support, review generation, and deeper integrations. We're building in public and listening to every business that tries the platform.
If you run a service business and you're tired of juggling tools, try YardTack free. We'd love to hear what you think.
